Tibetan Terrier Tribune February 2006 Photo Contest Winners of the February “Faces We Love” contest…
I have to share with you that I had more personal emails from non-TT owners about this contest than ever before! I heard from a lot of people who literally became enamored with our adorable breed through the “faces” you sent in. I think we have shown the world the special TT smiles we see every morning when we wake up! All of your entries were fabulous and because of that, I had two judges who refused to select any winners! That’s never happened before so it was difficult to find a couple who would actually select winners… (Click on the links to see the pictures) 1st place & the winner of a TT Tribune logo tote bag “Dougal” sent in by Kate Kluetmier won out with the “smile”!
2nd place & the winner
of a dog toy,
3rd place & winner of
a puppy bone, two winners, a tie! Honorable mention: Faces of Sun Kosi Ache Lhamo Tara, sent in by Túróczy Katalin “Bobby’s Big Trouble Face sent in by Jacki “Stella” sent in by Susan Bartuska “Wild Thing” sent in by Tina Wasemiller
"Angel Divine" is what
we call this beautiful "face" of Glitzy.
This is my " I am in BIG TROUBLE FACE" And
I really was !! This is my " I am so cute and adorable
face " And I really am too !! Pictures of Bobby submitted by Jacki
Dougal says, I am sooo cute !!
This is Milo, CH Da-Vid’s
White Lightning, who is the first Tibetan I adopted. He will
be 8 years old next month and I have no idea where the years
have gone! I can honestly say that Milo is my most
intelligent and my most spoiled Tibetan!
This is Stella when she was
six weeks old. This picture was taken for our litter photo.
Stella lives with Kim and Don Bare in Mesa, Arizona.

He is the reason why I fall
in love with the Breed.

snowshoeing (how appropriate for a TT!)

Just look at that SNOWface! Wee McGee
wants inside! She's had enough play in the white stuff, and is
signalling her wishes through a window!
"This is Murfy around 6
months old.
Ellie at 7 weeks, seeming to say "Just
look at that face! Who IS that cute puppy? What's she doing in
mom's bedroom ? HEY THERE, wanna play??"
This is Moka, looking very soulful as he
contemplates the question:
Chuba (age 10 ˝
in the first photo) has the most open expressive
face of any
TT I
know. He can say so much with his eyes and
where he puts his ears.
That
must be the same for every TT. It’s just that I
know every hair on his body and can read him so
well. At 2 ˝, Lotus is also a great
communicator, but being darker, it is hard to
catch her expressions as well in photographs.
Thank you for helping me pick the best puppy
photo of Lotus for the contest. I don’t expect
to win at all, but think viewers will enjoy
seeing her cute little “punum” in the mix.
